Frank Lloyd Wright was an American Architect, believing in designing in harmony with humanity and the environment which he called organic architecture. This project was awarded to Merkel Construction by the present home owner. We were to construct an additional living space to replicate the existing look with a craftsmanship of excellence. The matching of the Japanese Pagoda roof as well as the stucco on the exterior house were matched exactly. The interior of this addition was a room of 20 feet high with a cherry custom wood ceiling installed by Merkel Constructions custom craftsmen. The walls were finished with a Tuscany faux finish to give the ambiance of an old world feel.
